QNU's Nanyin Works Made its Debut at the Palace Museum in Beijing

On November 29, the "China-Arab Poetry Festival", organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was held at the Palace Museum in Beijing. Poets from 9 Arab countries, including Algeria, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Iraq and Jordantogether with Chinese poetsattended this festival. Through poetry recitations, dialogue exchanges, and performances of traditional Chinese and Arab musical instruments, they expressed their reflections on the common human values such as the future of nations, world peace, friendship and mutual trust.

Chen Qiuyan, Member of QNU Party Standing Committee and Vice President, dean of the School of Music and Dance, and representatives of teachers and students were invited to attend this festival. Nanyin worksPondering on Plum Blossomscreated and staged by teachers and students of the School of Music and Dance, added a strong artistic feeling to the event and won high praise from Minister Lu Yingchuan and guests at home and abroad including envoys of Arab countries to China.
